THE BAND

Mike Tirelli
Lead Vocals
Mike Tirelli thought he would never sing again after being diagnosed with stage 3 stomach cancer in 2008. Despite the debilitating illness taking him out of the music scene for some years, Mike bounced back....better than ever.
This American singer/songwriter is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range, as well as his powerful voice which has been compared to the late great Ronnie James Dio, who, coincidentally, had the same stomach cancer as Mike, but Dio tragically lost his battle with the disease in 2010.
Mike was the former vocalist for Riot and Burning Starr, and is the current vocalist for the German band, Messiah's Kiss. Mike's vocals add a harder edge, supercharged performance, and can hit the high notes.

Greg Giordano
Guitar
In addition to playing guitar for Holy Mother, Greg is also the singer, main songwriter and one of two guitarists of the progressive metal band Turrigenous. He's also the sole member of Whiskey Cyclone and member-on-call of the thrash metal outfit Martyrd. In that band and Turrigenous, Greg has opened for Anthrax, Testament, Fear Factory, Soilwork, Amorphis and more.

Greg teaches guitar/bass/voice/piano privately and has meticulously transcribed over a thousand songs for his students.

Finally, he is known for his YouTube videos teaching and playing Opeth, Dream Theater and Angra.

Frankie D'Esposito
Drums
Frankie D'Esposito is a New York City based drummer known for his high-energy performances and deep roots in the rock and metal genres. He began playing drums at the age of 9, after an impromptu jam session on a family friends' drum kit, a moment that ignited a lifelong passion for rhythm and percussion. Briefly after, he began a mentorship studying under Bobby Rondinelli, where he learned to refine his grove and technique.

Over the last decade, Frankie has been on multiple cross-country tours, and has also performed alongside artists such as Scott Stapp (Creed), Michale Graves (The Misfits), and Vince Neil (Motley Crue).

Freddy Villano
Bass
Freddy Villano is a professional bassist, music journalist, theater-maker and certified Alexander Technique teacher. He has toured and recorded with artists such as Quiet Riot, Widowmaker (featuring Dee Snider of Twisted Sister), David Bowie guitar legend Earl Slick, as well as countless independent bands, including American Mafia, The Crows, and Red56, to name a few. He's currently holding down the low end for ’80s metal luminaries The Rods, whose latest album, Rattle The Cage(featuring Freddy on bass), was released on January 19, 2024.

Wayne "Banksy" Banks
Bass
Holy Mother’s "British Connection". Wayne is a studied bass player and was a permanent member of Robin Gibb's band (Bee Gees) for more than 10 years. In England he started his career with the heavy metallers of Sabbat, then via Blaze Bailey (Ex-Iron Maiden), landed in 2002 with Messiahs Kiss. In addition, he toured with the British metal legend "Saxon" as well as together with ex-Rainbow singer Joe Lynn Turner in "Brazen Abbot".
Currently he is very successful with the "Classic Rock Show" on the island.
And, if you know Wayne, he’s an all around fun guy.
